Italy charges TPD registration fees for e-cigarettes

Recently, Italy published the decree "DECRETO 7 marzo 2022" in its official gazette. In view of the fact that when the Italian Ministry of Health supervises the compliance of tobacco products, the Italian government bears high costs for analysis, testing, management, etc., this Act is now enacted to require importers and manufacturers of tobacco products to bear this part of the cost. details as follows:
The new policy will be implemented on May 30, 2022:
Newly registered products after May 30, 2022
a, Notification fee EUR 327.85/ECID
b, amendment/update fee 108.03 EUR/ECID
c, Market research fee 293.53 EUR/company/year
d, Annual report fee 293.53 EUR/company/year
Products registered before May 30, 2022
a, notification fee 108.03 EUR/ECID
b, payment needs to be completed before 2022.7.29
c. If the product does not intend to continue to be sold in Italy, the applicant needs to remove the product in EUCEG, and no payment is required for the removed product.
